This data protection declaration informs you, among other things, about the scope, purpose and legal basis for the processing of personal data collected through the LifeSketch APP and the website www.lifesketch.io. Personal data is any information that relates to an individual, i.e., by which an individual can be identified directly or indirectly, for example, by name, email address, account number or IP address (the list is not exhaustive). 2. Collection of Personal Data When Using Our Mobile Application
Download the app
When you download the mobile app, the information necessary for this will be transmitted to the respective app store (Apple Store or Google Play Store), in particular your username, email address and customer number of your account, the time of download, payment information and individual device code. We have no control over the collection of this data by the App Store and are not responsible for it. Use of the app or website www.lifesketch.io
In principle, registration is not required to use the app and the services we offer through it. When you use the mobile app on your device, we collect the personal data described below. This data is technically necessary to offer you the features of our mobile app and to ensure stability and security:
- IP address
- Date and time of request
- Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
- Content of the request (specific page)
- Operating system or browser version
We process this data to:
- Ensure comfortable use of the app
- Ensure and evaluate system security and stability, as well as
- Anonymize for further administrative purposes.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the above-mentioned purposes for data collection.
3. Use of Cookies
We do not use cookies.
4. Access Rights on Your Device
The app does not require any access rights on your device.
5. Contact Us
If you contact us, for example by email or phone, you will need to provide your name and email address or phone number so that we can process and respond. Additional information can be provided voluntarily. We will process the transmitted data solely for the purpose of contacting you to process your request. The legal basis for such data processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter b) GDPR, if it is a pre-contractual measure, and Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a) based on your consent. The collected personal data will be deleted if they are no longer needed and deletion does not conflict with any legal retention requirements.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information
As a rule, we do not transfer personal data to third parties unless
- you have given explicit consent in accordance with Article 6 paragraph 1 b GDPR,
- there is a legitimate interest in the transfer according to Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence f GDPR, and there are no grounds to assume that you have a legitimate interest in not disclosing your data, and there is a legal obligation to disclose information according to Article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 letter c GDPR.
7. Data Retention and Deletion Periods
Personal data collected by the responsible person will be deleted if it is no longer needed to fulfill the contract or the agreed purpose no longer applies, and there are no legal retention requirements.
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- request information about your personal data that we process according to Article 15 GDPR;
- request correction of inaccurate or complete personal data stored by us according to Article 16 GDPR;
- request deletion of your personal data stored by us according to Article 17 GDPR;
- request restriction of processing your personal data according to Article 18 GDPR;
- according to Article 20 GDPR, receive your personal data that you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or request their transfer to another responsible person;
9. Revocation of Your Consent
If data processing is based on Article GDPR, you can revoke this consent at any time from the responsible person with future effect (Article 7 paragraph 3 GDPR). This means that we will no longer have the right to continue data processing based on your consent in the future. To revoke your consent, simply send an email to support@lifesketch.io.
10. Right to Object
You can object to the processing of your data by the responsible person at any time with future effect. To revoke your consent, simply send an email to support@lifesketch.io.
11. Possible Changes
Due to the further development of our website or changes in legal requirements, it may be necessary to change this data protection declaration.
